Slope Pods

FAQ

Good questions, straight answers.

How quiet is a Slope Pod, really?

Every size is built to cut speech by about 30 dB. The Pod S is rated at 29.4 dB(A), Class B under the ISO 23351-1 standard for office pods. In practice, a normal conversation inside becomes a faint murmur outside, and the busy room outside fades into the background for whoever is inside.

Is assembly included?

Yes, on every order. Our crew delivers the pod, assembles it on site (usually in a day, up to three days for the larger meeting pods), levels it, tests it and walks you through the controls. There are no surprise install fees.

What do I need on site?

A flat floor, a standard 110V outlet nearby and a clear path in. Pods arrive in panels and are assembled where they will live, so we will just confirm doorway, hallway and elevator sizes with you before delivery.

How long does it take to get one?

Plan on about 12 to 14 weeks from order to delivery, since every pod is built to order and shipped to you, then 1 to 3 days for assembly. If you have a hard deadline, like an opening or a grant reporting date, tell us up front and we will plan around it.

What is the difference between Pod Only and the Furniture Bundle?

Pod Only is the pod itself, with lighting, ventilation, sensor and power built in, ready for your own furniture. The Furniture Bundle adds the desk and seating sized for that pod, so it is ready to use the moment we finish. Both include assembly and the 2 year warranty on electrical components.

Do you offer pricing for more than one pod?

Yes. As soon as you order two or more pods, every pod in the order drops to our multi unit price. For larger rollouts across several buildings or towns, we are happy to put together a custom plan.

Can public organizations and nonprofits buy pods?

Absolutely. We work with economic development groups, libraries, towns and schools. We can provide a formal written quote, W-9, spec sheets and certifications for your procurement or grant paperwork.

Does it get stuffy inside?

No. A quiet fan system moves up to 188 CFM of fresh air, purges the pod after every session and refreshes it every 30 minutes when nobody is inside. A breathing sensor keeps the lights and air on even when you are sitting perfectly still.

Can a pod be moved later?

Yes. Pods are modular and can be taken apart and reassembled in a new spot. If you move offices, our crew can relocate it for a fee based on the distance and the size of the pod. Just reach out and we will put together a quote.

What does the warranty cover?

Every pod comes with a 2 year warranty on its electrical components: the ventilation fans, LED lighting, presence sensor and power system. It covers defects, not accidental damage. If something is not right, call or email us and a real person will sort it out.
